Just wanted to take a moment to say how BEAUTIFUL Michael Andrew Rosenfeld’s painting looked at the opening of the Circle of Truth Project exhibition. Numu Los Gatos did such wonderful job hanging everything and the light on each painting is truly exceptional. Shane Guffogg and I participated in the “Coffee Tawk”, led by the amazing Lisa Coscino, the director of the New Museum Los Gatos NUMU. The “Coffee Tawk”, (one of the perks of membership to the museum) was held in the afternoon before the opening and Lisa reminded all the attendees that Michael Andrew Rosenfeld is the artist that had “that show” with the “GIANT dirigibles”, a collective aaaahhh was heard in the room. The story that goes with Rosenfeld’s painting reveals the challenge that the artists faced as well as our resolution as the curators.
