Greg Colson responded to Cheryl Simon Ekstrom's painting in the Circle of Truth art exhibition. Cheryl used plaster and paint in her offering pure white and thickly applied to the linen. She wanted it to disintegrate over time-to crack and fall off the linen. When Shane Guffogg and I went to pick up the project from Greg he was very eager to get Cheryl’s painting into our hands again. Saying, "I was afraid it would fall apart before I could finish my painting". Of course the whole thing was a big secret so we couldn't tell Greg that his intuition was exactly correct.
CircleOfTruthProject.com is a visual game of "Telephone" played by 49 artists in absolute secrecy over a period of 9 years.
